Kyle Christensen is a teacher and coach from Glen Ullin, ND. He has been married to his wife Shelly for 30 years. They have two daughters, Taylor 19 and Cassie 16. Softball has been a part of Kyle’s life as long as he can remember, growing up a block from the local softball diamonds. As a young boy, Kyle would ride his bike to the fields and watch the local men’s and women’s fastpitch teams play. He and his friends formed a team and began to play right out of high school. Over time he was fortunate to play with some of the best teams in the Midwest. During his career, he was named ASA All-American and NAFA All-World multiple times and was a member of the 2003 ASA Men’s Class A National Champion Barley Pop A’s out of Minot, ND. Kyle was inducted into the North Dakota softball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Kyle began coaching his daughter Taylor’s travel softball team when she became old enough to play. Guiding them to eight state championships in ten years. In 2020, Kyle accepted the head coaching job at the local high school leading them to their first ever State Title in 2023.
Here is what Kyle says about Tincher Pitching:
I discovered Denny Tincher online while looking for someone to work with Taylor in the Phoenix area. When I saw there was an opportunity to become certified as a pitching instructor, I jumped at the chance. I always felt like I knew enough to help get girls started pitching but wasn’t able to see all the subtleties like I could with hitters. You don’t have to spend much time around Denny to know that he is the real deal. I am looking forward to being a part of a great organization and helping develop the next generation of pitchers in North Dakota.
Here is what Denny says about Kyle:
Within a couple of minutes of our first Zoom meeting, I knew that Kyle had everything we want in a member of our organization. He has been around this game at every level, successfully I might add, but he is so humble that you would never know how much he has accomplished. The “wheels are always turning” with this guy. He is in it for all of the right reasons, and I think his students will see big results quickly.
