Being a pitcher’s parent is hard work! First to arrive. Last to leave. Twice as many practices. The reward: bruised shins and swollen hands. And of course, and that big smile and sweaty little hug when it all comes together! We all want our kids to have more than we did. We struggle to give them all of the tools they need to succeed. Sometimes all they really need is our time, our encouragement and, mostly, our presence.
