Jennifer Bride

Jen Bride lives in Anchorage, Alaska.  She started teaching pitching lessons out of college in 2005 using the techniques and methods she used to earn a full scholarship to New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. After graduating, Jen says she wanted to give back to the sport through coaching and specifically teaching girls how to pitch and to help them earn a scholarship to college for their education.

So, how did Tincher Pitching fit into the picture?  Jen says, “In 2019 I learned about Tincher pitching, the goal being to teach girls how to pitch using the natural movements of the female body and reducing injuries. The more I learn the more it makes sense and I’m seeing constant improvements in my students. Teaching girls, seeing the smiles, hearing the excitement, and watching the success they have on and off the field, that’s why I continue to give back to the sport that raised my confidence, taught me drive, determination, to never give up, and how to be a team player. Tincher Pitching continues to improve, research, and grow in order to provide the best quality instruction to each girl   I’m so excited and honoured to be part of the Tincher team!

Here is what Denny says about Jen.  “Jen saw the difference in a student who had flown a long way to work with me.  That was all it took.  Jen wanted to fly down and begin her studies.  When an Instructor Candidate is willing to travel from Alaska to the eastern part of the U.S. to make herself better, that gets our attention.  She is bright, energetic, fun, and creative.  All things we like in an Instructor.”
